We try to make our modern, newly refurnished bar a calm oasis in the midst of Blackpool’s bustling nightlife. We don’t always succeed and to that end stock a large assortment of drinks from draught beer and lager to the latest in designer bottles; from spirits, wines and liquers to mixers and bottled water.

As a special treat for our more literate guests we have re-produced many of the ‘Albert and the Lion’ series of comical, dialect poems and there is a section of the bar lounge devoted to ‘Old Blackpool’.

In fact, plenty to entertain and amuse you to go with the drinks. We open each evening from 7pm till late. There is a pool table, dartboard, CD jukebox, CD music centre, some fruit machines and a quiz machine.

Children are very welcome in the bar and we keep a few games for them as well, but it’s nice to know they’ll go to bed to let the adults, including their parents, enjoy the evening. (We have a ‘baby listener’ to help you out with that one.)
